Site Reliability Engineer - W6759

What You'll Do

• Provides Level 2/3 production support for eCommerce applications, identifying and resolving incidents promptly.
• Analysing root causes of production issues, performing code fixes, and deploying changes following best practices.
• Collaborates with development and operations teams to maintain application stability and performance.
• Monitor application logs, metrics, and alerts to identify potential issues proactively.
• Document support activities, including troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and recommendations for future improvements.
• Participate in on-call support rotation to respond to critical incidents outside of normal business hours.

What You Know

• Proficiency in debugging, troubleshooting, and fixing Java-based applications.
• Familiarity with web technologies, databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL), and application servers.
• Experience with monitoring tools and ticketing systems (e.g., Splunk, Jira, ServiceNow).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications or related field.

Compensation Band

• $125-135k per year
