Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Plans, designs, builds, tests and maintains the integrations and web services between enterprise systems
  • Actively participate in project vision design and requirement requests.
  • Develop technical design specifications.
  • Diagnose, debug and support issues that occur in deployment environments and direct Client Services" in diagnostic procedures.
  • Assist with definition of System Architecture (including platform, development environment, DBMS and system interfacing technologies).
  • Design low level interactions between all components used for internal and external solutions which includes working with Insurtechs, Cloud services, and custom on premise deployed services and infrastructure.
  • Work with cross-functional teams spanning across multiple internal and external organizations.

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, IT or related field or an MBA
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with service bus concepts
  • Familiarity with Integration iPasS solutions (Jitterbit, Boomi, WSO2, etc.)
  • Experience developing SOAP and REST API based web services.
  • Knowledge and understanding of reading and implementing OpenAPI Specification (e.g., Swagger, YAML, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of a broad-range data interchange format and transmission protocols (e.g., JSON, HTML, etc.).
  • Proficiency with one or more procedural and / or object-oriented programming languages. (e.g., JavaScript, Python, C#, .NET, etc.)
  • Experience in working with RDBMS systems
  • Desire to develop Insurance Industry knowledge
