Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10am – 6pm or 11am – 7pm with flexibility (approx. 40-45 hours per week)

Location: Greenwich, CT

Salary: $85,000 – 95,000 based on experience

Position Overview:

A private family in Greenwich, Connecticut is seeking a reliable, experienced, and detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to support the daily operation of their household. This role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, organization, and a warm, family-oriented demeanor. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, well-organized, and welcoming home environment and will be a positive, appreciated presence in the household.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Prepare, cook, and serve dinner for the family Monday through Thursday (four evenings per week)

· Prepare lighter meals and snacks as needed, including during school holidays or days when children are home

· Perform daily dishwashing and thorough kitchen cleaning

· Manage household laundry for the entire family, including washing, folding, ironing as needed, and neatly organizing and putting away clothing

· Make beds and tidy bedrooms each morning

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of shared living spaces, including family rooms and common areas

· Clean and maintain bathrooms throughout the week (not required daily)

· Empty trash and recycling and take trash out as needed

· Perform light vacuuming and mopping throughout the week

· Perform other customary housekeeping duties as needed to maintain a well-run household

Pet Care (Light Assistance Required):

The household has dogs. While the family will primarily be responsible for walking, feeding, and daily care, light assistance with the dogs will occasionally be required:

· Letting the dogs in and out of the backyard when the family is not home

· Refilling food and water bowls as needed

Schedule & Work Structure:

· This position may be structured as either a live-in or live-out role; guest suite available for accommodations

· Schedule is Monday through Friday; Approximately 40–45 hours per week

· Monday through Thursday: expected to remain through dinner service (dinner time usually 6pm or 6:30pm) and complete kitchen cleanup afterward

· Fridays: may leave in the afternoon and is not required to stay through dinner

Ideal Candidate Qualifications & Personal Qualities:

· At least five (5) years of experience working in a private household or similar setting

· Hard-working, reliable, and highly organized with strong attention to detail

· Consistently positive attitude; pleasant, appreciative, and upbeat to be around

· Takes pride in work and approaches responsibilities with care and professionalism

· Trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of the family’s privacy

· Able to work independently while remaining responsive to household needs

· Comfortable working in a home with dogs
