Minimum Qualifications

1. An Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, or progress towards one, is required. You must submit transcripts and grades each semester to demonstrate advancement, with a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester or 12 credit hours per school year. The degree must be completed within two years of hire 2. Ability to obtain a level three license issued by the NM Public Education Department (NMPED).
