About the Role

We’re excited to offer a Hybrid Accounting Specialist opportunity with a well‑established, reputable organization in Milwaukee! This role plays a key part in ensuring premium payments are processed accurately and efficiently. Schedule : Monday–Friday | 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Location : Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid eligible)

What You’ll Do

• Review check payment information within the lockbox payment portal
• Reconcile check amounts with supporting documentationEnsure lockbox batch totals match entries in the internal cash systemDocument exceptions clearly and accurately
• Review payment documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Perform multi-step premium processing procedures across internal systems, databases, and external websites
• Research and resolve discrepancies
• Identify situations needing customer outreach and provide details to the appropriate team
• Recognize maintenance transactions and communicate them to the Policy Servicing team
• Support payment application processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
