Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Fence Estimator and Project Manager. This role involves assessing project requirements, estimating costs, managing project timelines, and overseeing the successful completion of fence installation projects. The ideal candidate should have a construction background, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to lead and collaborate effectively with teams. Knowledge and Skills

  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Experienced in fence installation and project management.
  • Have general knowledge of the construction industry.
  • Must be well organized and able to manage multiple projects and personalities.
  • Have a positive attitude.
  • Have the ability to think quickly and problem solve.
  • Be competent in Microsoft Office.
  • Be able to work well in a team environment where situations and demands change daily.
  • Maintain a clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

    • Performance Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed assessments of project sites to determine fence installation requirements
  • Communicate effectively with clients, asrchitects, and construction teams to understand project specifications and expectations.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the installation projects.
  • Generate comprehensive project proposals.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of fence installation projects, from planning to completion.
  • Procure necessary materials.
  • Develop and maintain project schedule.
  • Regularly communicate project status updates to clients and internal teams.
  • Address any issues or challenges that arise during the project and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with crews and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution. Provide clear instructions and guidance to installation teams.
  • Always promote safety and quality.
  • Foster a positive and motivating work environment to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure fence installations meet our standards, local codes, and client specifications.
  • Conduct inspections to guarantee the quality of workmanship and address any deficiencies promptly.
  • Must complete 1 hour of continued education a quarter.
  • Demonstrate the Seegars Fence Company Core Values daily.
