Unit Overview :

Join our dynamic 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit , where you'll provide care for patients undergoing :

Post-operative care for craniotomies, AVMs, and tumor resections

Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries

Comprehensive stroke program patients

What You'll Do :

Deliver and coordinate comprehensive, evidence-based patient care

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for safe and compassionate care

Utilize critical thinking to support optimal patient outcomes

Enhance patient experience across care settings

Major Responsibilities :

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans

Monitor and respond to significant patient condition changes

Implement patient safety strategies and facilitate discharge planning

Support quality improvement initiatives for enhanced patient care

Contribute to the professional development of team members

Licensure and Education Required :

Registered Nurse license from the state where you practice

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Accredited nursing program completion

Experience and Skills Required :

Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift and carry various weights throughout the workday

Must be able to interact with patients effectively

Potential exposure to chemicals, hazardous waste, and communicable diseases
