We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee and manage financial operations for our organization in Springfield, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and demonstrate expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data while contributing to strategic financial planning.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and coordinate the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform account and bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
• Oversee AIA billing processes and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
• Manage financial statement preparation, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies in financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with percentage-of-completion accounting methods as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Provide detailed financial insights and recommendations to aid in strategic decision-making.
• Maintain adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls.
