Director of Operations – Healthcare Practice
Location: Southington, CT area (Onsite, brand new office)

The Director of Operations leads practice operations, focused on process improvement, workflow efficiency, and effective staff management during a period of rapid growth. This role will execute strategic goals, optimize workflows, and drive financial and quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and develop four department managers: Billing, Patient Services, Clinical, Administration
- Streamline processes across patient services and clinical functions.
- Standardize and implement workflows and policies for efficiency and consistent patient experience.
- Manage budgets, monitor performance, and drive revenue cycle outcomes with finance and billing teams.
- Optimize clinic flow, staffing, scheduling, and patient satisfaction with clinical leaders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop managers and support staff; manage hiring, onboarding, and retention.
- Prepare and present operational reports and recommendations to leadership.
- Collaborate closely with the CFO and Practice Manager to ensure smooth integration as the organization expands.
- Identify and implement operational best practices to enhance patient experience, compliance, and staff engagement.
Required Experience:
- Proven operations leadership experience in a fast-paced business or healthcare environment.
- Strong skills in process optimization, people management, and organizational strategy.
- Healthcare practice experience highly preferred

- Bachelor’s required; Master’s (MHA, MBA, MPH) preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in healthcare operations
- Strong understanding of physician practice management, revenue cycle, and compliance.
- Demonstrated leadership, change management, and data-driven decision skills.
