We are looking for a Treatment Coordinator for our beautiful, established, private Dental PPO Office in Glendora, California. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dentistry, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. Preference given to someone who also knows how to use Dentrix, verify insurance, knowledge of ADA codes and experience with pre-authorization. As the Dental Treatment Coordinator you will work with the General Dentist, Orthodontist and Periodontist, present comprehensive treatment plans for patients, set up payment plans, answer patients' questions via phone calls and emails and follow up with patients. You will play a vital role in the patient experience by providing support, guidance, and education throughout the treatment process.


Responsibilities:


  • Meet with patients to discuss treatment options, develop treatment plans and set up payment plans
  • Explain treatment plans, procedures, and expected outcomes to patients in a clear and concise manner
  • Answer patient questions and address concerns regarding their treatment plan
  • Coordinate with insurance companies to ensure proper coverage and billing
  • Schedule appointments and follow up with patients to ensure adherence to treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure that all documentation is up-to-date
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure that patient care is efficient and effective
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families
Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 years of experience in a dental office or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Knowledge of dental procedures and treatments
  • Experience with Dentrix dental software and patient management systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situation with ease
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus with back office experience
Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour


Expected hours: 40 per week
