Position Overview:

The Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with assigned VIP client accounts, primarily one to two high-value physician offices. This role ensures continued business by fostering trust, addressing client needs, and troubleshooting any order discrepancies. The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for these clients, ensuring seamless service and ongoing satisfaction.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Provides guidance to junior account representatives or customer service team members regarding client-specific needs.
  • Collaborates with internal teams to streamline client services and resolve escalated issues.
  • Ensures adherence to company policies and compliance standards when managing client relationships.
  • Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with assigned physician offices to ensure continued business.
  • Serves as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Monitors client accounts and ensures the timely reordering of medications.
  • Addresses and resolves order discrepancies, billing issues, and service concerns promptly.
  • Provides product and service education to clients as needed.
  • Identifies opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and drive business growth.
  • Tracks and reports key account metrics, including order trends and client feedback.
  • Collaborates with internal departments, such as sales and customer service, to improve the overall client experience.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities with a client-focused mindset.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and industry regulations is a plus.


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer service, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Experience working with physician offices or medical professionals is a plus.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
  • Occasional travel to client offices may be required.
