The Program Manager is responsible for the supervision of Recovery Technicians as well as supporting leadership with various administrative tasks. In carrying out the position’s requirements, confidential working relationships with leadership, clinical staff, administrative staff, and clients must be maintained. Must follow all state and federal guidelines, exercise sound judgment and discretion, demonstrate initiative, trustworthiness, cooperation, and dependability while performing assigned tasks and responsibilities.
Pay : $58,000 - $75,000 Annually
Shift : Full-Time, 1st Shift

A. Clinical Procedures
Manage and oversee all Recovery Technician, this includes hiring and trainingEnsure Company’s screening and admission protocol are being followed. This includes client interviews to obtain their basic medical history and current health complaints.Ensure basic health screening procedures with all clients, as directed by Registered Nurse, are being implementedEnsure Recovery Technicians are regularly observing clients' health status, particularly as it relates to detoxification and withdrawal and assisting clients with basic activities of daily living and personal hygiene, as needed.Foster a climate of corporation and respect between staffAssist with Recovery Technician duties, when requiredB. Supervise Recovery Technicians

Must be at least 18 years of age and must be free of substance use problems for at least one year immediately preceding their hiring and must sign a statement attesting to that fact.Must possess a minimum of high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED)Must have, or obtain the following (if requested) :a current first aid certificate from the American Red Cross or an equivalent organizationa current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certificate from the American Red Cross, the American Heart Association, a community organization, or an equivalent organizationPreferred Education : Some college or technical schoolPreferred Experience : At least two years’ experience working as a technician or health services assistant in a substance use disorder detoxification or treatment setting.1. Knowledge of :
State and Federal law regarding confidentiality of alcohol and drug treatment records and HIV testing / status including 42 CFR, part 2First aid for seizures, trauma, and loss of consciousnessClient bill of rights in Minnesota Statutes 148F.165, and staff responsibilities in Minnesota Statutes 144.651 and 253B.03Basic health screening procedures with intoxicated clients that consist of :blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration readingsinterviewing to obtain relevant medical history and current health complaintsvisual observation of a client's health status, including monitoring a client's behavior as it relates to health statusSupporting clients with basic activities of daily living and personal hygieneHealth Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)Business and office practice / proceduresHealthcare industry, especially substance abuse and mental health servicesTechnology proficiency with various software packages including EHR / EMR and keyboarding skillsContinuous quality improvement2.
