Senior Accountant

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant who will maintain the integrity of financial systems and reporting.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and review journal entries and monthly general ledger reconciliations

Track restricted and unrestricted funds, ensuring compliance with donor restrictions

Support the annual external audit and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in nonprofit accounting

Strong understanding of GAAP and nonprofit accounting

Experience with grant and contract reporting and compliance

Proficiency in accounting systems and strong Excel skills
