As Vice President of Sales you will drive revenue growth customer excellence and go-to-market execution across our HVAC distribution and contractor channels. Youll lead a high-performing team and collaborate cross-functionally to scale our market presence accelerate customer adoption and enhance the end-to-end buying experience. This executive role is ideal for a hands-on data-driven sales leader with deep HVAC distribution experience and a passion for team development strategic execution and market innovation .

Key Responsibilities :

Sales Strategy & Market Growth

  • Define and implement sales and service goals aligned with aggressive revenue retention and market share targets.
  • Develop and lead go-to-market strategies to expand brand footprint across HVAC distributors and contractors in North America.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity to proactively adjust commercial strategy.
  • Drive sales enablement initiatives to increase product penetration and contractor activation.

Team Leadership & Field Enablement

  • Lead coach and scale a national team including Regional Sales Managers Territory Managers Customer Service and Mobile Roadshow staff.
  • Deploy hybrid and remote selling best practices to optimize regional coverage and team accountability.
  • Launch hands-on training programs (e.g. mobile demos distributor education) to support field performance and product knowledge.
  • Customer Experience & Service Excellence

  • Champion customer-centric service delivery including SLA adherence warranty processing inquiry resolution and complaint handling.
  • Collaborate with operations and marketing to enhance the full customer journeyfrom quote to post-sale support.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with RLS and Marmon leadership to shape product development roadmaps including tool innovations and jaw enhancements.
  • Work with Marketing to execute impactful product launches showroom activations HVAC expos and channel marketing initiatives.
  • Business & Performance Management

  • Define and manage KPIs : bookings distributor penetration installer engagement retention customer NPS and margin performance.
  • Oversee sales planning regional budgets forecasting pricing strategy and channel incentives.
  • Deliver regular performance updates to RLS and Marmon Operating Unit executives.
  • Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10 years of B2B sales leadership ideally in HVAC / R mechanical distribution or industrial OEM sectors.
  • Proven success scaling revenue ($50M$150M) across mid-market and distribution channels.
  • Strong background selling into HVAC distribution networks in the North American market.
  • Experience managing hybrid field / inside sales teams service operations and strategic accounts.
  • Track record of driving sales enablement programs (training demos certifications etc.).
  • Highly analytical and data-driven; fluent in CRM tools sales pipeline metrics and forecasting.
  • Strong communicator with executive presence and technical acumen.
  • Willingness to travel 50% to support the field partners and key trade events.
  • Preferred Experience :

  • Familiarity with press fitting systems HVAC / R tools or flame-free mechanical technologies.
  • Understanding of UL 207 certifications high-pressure systems and refrigerant transitions in HVAC applications.
