American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ortho RN with a current CA license and Epic EMR experience for a Med / Surg Orthopedics assignment.

Job Details

Work in the orthopedic unit of an acute care hospital,
Patient ratio is 1 : 5,
Day shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week, from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM,
Floating between like units and nearby affiliate hospitals is required,
Every other weekend is required,
Epic is used for charting and prior Epic experience is required,

Job Requirements

Active CA RN license must be in hand at time of consideration,

Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a comparable specialty required,

Current BLS certification required,

Must provide at least two supervisory references from the past three years,

Epic charting experience is required,

Additional Information

RNs expected to wear royal blue or navy blue scrubs,

Must be willing to work at least 2 of 3 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year,

Local candidates are accepted; a 50-mile radius rule applies,

First-time travelers are welcome to apply,

RTO must be submitted with application; minimal RTO is preferred,

Candidates returning as travelers must have not been permanent staff within the past three months,

Free parking is available on site,

Modules must be completed before the assignment begins and annually,
