GIS Developer

AECOM is seeking a highly motivated GIS Developer to support a key client in Chicago Illinois. This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone with GIS experience related to enterprise system design database management and application development in addition to expertise in : ArcGIS (desktop online and enterprise); SQL Server and programming languages such as Python HTML and JavaScript to support automation and web / mobile solutions; experience with data integration versioned datasets and quality control is essential; along with strong analytical communication and client-facing skills.

The daily responsibilities of the GIS Developer may include the following tasks :

• Interface with client and DWM PMO program staff regarding project planning and goal setting and expectation management.
• Collaborate with other GIS team members regarding product design and delivery requirements for the client.
• Monitor GIS database and system performance address possible issues and ensure the continuous delivery of high quality information to the client.
• Manage existing GIS delivery workflows and pursue opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in GIS Geography or another related field and4 years of relevant experience with GIS development (ArcGIS Pro SQL etc.) or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education
