Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med / Surg Tele position on a 30-bed medical telemetry unit in Massachusetts with night shifts and every other weekend required.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a 30-bed medical telemetry unit in a hospital setting
  • Patient ratios typically 1 : 5, occasionally up to 1 : 6 or 1 : 7
  • Cares for adult medical patients, including post-bronchoscopy and chest tube cases
  • Required to float to similar units as needed
  • 12-hour night shifts (NOC)
  • Every other weekend and alternating holiday coverage required
  • Participation in care for patients with telemetry needs and various medical acuity
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply

    • Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Tele experience
  • Current BLS certification (AHA only)
