Title Examiner

A company is looking for a Title Examiner to provide search and examination products for residential orders from assigned customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Search and examine public land records to determine insurability and issue Title Commitments and other reports

Locate and compile records affecting real property, including taxes, bankruptcies, and liens

Work with the Underwriting Department to identify matters needing review and approval

Required Qualifications

Associates degree or equivalent, or five plus years of related experience or training

Ability to read and interpret industry journals and financial reports

Proficient with Microsoft Suite

Strong analytical skills to define problems and draw valid conclusions

Experience with public records search engines and closing software programs
