Senior Mechanical Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer responsible for the mechanical design and development of distribution transformers.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and develop mechanical specifications and detailed designs for distribution transformers

Perform mechanical calculations and verify component layouts to ensure compliance with industry standards

Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve issues and support engineering changes

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field

7+ years of experience in design engineering of electrical distribution equipment, preferably in transformer manufacturing

Proficiency in engineering design and analysis tools, including CAD and simulation software

Strong understanding of distribution transformer design and relevant industry standards

Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
