Pharmacist In Charge – Home Infusion Pharmacy

Summary

Our client is a leading provider of home infusion pharmacy services, committed to delivering high-quality care and improving the lives of patients nationwide. This Pharmacist In Charge / Pharmacy Manager role is based in Albuquerque, NM, where you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of a home infusion pharmacy that’s been successfully up and running for over a year.

Salary

140K–$180K base (negotiable based on experience), plus bonus potential; total comp ~$225K+. Includes benefits, perks, and continuing education support and development opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

Manage daily pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.

Lead and develop a high-performing pharmacy team focused on exceptional patient care.

Make sound clinical and operational decisions when the rule book doesn’t have all the answers—gray areas require confident judgment.

Oversee medication preparation, dispensing, and therapy management for home infusion patients.

Collaborate with prescribers and healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Maintain inventory and proper handling of all medications and supplies.

Serve as a professional liaison to external partners and represent the pharmacy in the local healthcare community.

Qualifications

Active Pharmacist license in New Mexico.

At least 5 years of experience in home infusion pharmacy; 8+ years preferred.

Previous leadership experience managing pharmacy staff.

Strong understanding of pharmacy operations and compliance.

Excellent communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to act decisively in complex situations.
