Care Facilitator/Behavioral Health Tech. (Full Time)
Location: Olathe, KS

STARTING PAY $20.00/hr*

FT/PT $3.00 pay differential ($23/hr.) from Friday 5pm - Sunday 10pm

Shifts Needed: 12pm-10pm with Sunday and/or Saturday availability

Major Duties

• Provide high quality therapeutic care for children, ranging in age from 6-18 years of age, within the Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility.
• Provide life skills instruction, coping and team building skills for each child.
• Encourage physical, emotional and behavioral growth and development for youth.
• Maintain the safety and security of the children in care and attend to their needs in a nurturing way.
• Provides complete documentation as required.
• Be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, leadership is valued and diversity is respected.
• Shifts, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm or 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm. 1 day each weekend availability is preferred.

To be considered for this position, you will need:

Minimum:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 21 years of age with valid drivers' license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to lead a group of kids in an activity
• Commitment, integrity and adaptability
• Enthusiasm, sense of humor and patience

Preferred (not required):

• College credit hours in social work, psychology or related mental health fields from an accredited college.
• Aptitude to work with youth who have emotional and behavioral challenges.
