About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our accounts payable function. The ideal candidate will lead a team responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and systems.

What You Will Do:

• Assist with the creation of the accounts payable technical workflow.
• Supervise and manage the accounts payable team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to policies and procedures
• Oversee the processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment runs
• Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors, resolving any discrepancies or issues
• Maintain and enforce internal controls related to accounts payable processes
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements
• Review and approve journal entries, accruals, and month-end close tasks related to payables
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, and other departments to streamline AP procedures
• Assist in audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
• Train and mentor team members, conducting performance evaluations, and identifying development opportunities
• Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounts payable experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and AP best practices
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Experience in the commercial multi–services industry is a plus

Compensation for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on experience.
