Plant Utility SME - Life Science - 9-Months - Michigan
Do you want to work with an exciting company who are an established market leader within their unique and niche field? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Plant Utility SME with 9-months experience to drive the delivery of a large new capital invest project on an initial 9-month contract. As a Plant Utility SME you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a new state of the art facility.


Responsibilities:

• Lead startup and commissioning of plant utility systems.
• MUST HAVE “hands on” utility energization experience.
• Responsible for safe startup of systems. Perform safety risk assessments to identify and mitigate safety hazards.
• Ability to effectively communicate, interact and collaborate with team members and external stakeholders is essential.
• Planning of daily activities and coordination of multiple startup activities. Approve and coordinate work to be performed each day for multiple systems in an area.
• Conduct field coordination meetings using Organizational Risk Management boards to identify all hazards and determine mitigation strategies. Development of Safe Plan of Action for all tasks.
• Valve alignments
• LOTO
• Signage and barricades
• Completing installation documentation
• Energization of utilities and equipment per written startup plans
• Commissioning of utilities and equipment per written commissioning plans
• Walk down of mechanical and process systems for acceptance by commissioning team.
• Troubleshoot equipment/system performance issues with support from Pfizer SME and engineering resources.

Requirements:

• 10 years of field experience in Pharma
• Ability to read and understand P&IDs and electrical single line diagrams
