We are seeking experienced Visual Inspectors to perform 100% visual inspection under a microscope on small, precision-machined metal components used in aerospace and defense applications. This is a focused, detail-oriented role— your primary responsibility is to identify cosmetic and surface defects and accurately document pass / fail results.

What You’ll Do :

• Perform microscope inspection of CNC-machined Aerospace parts per work instructions, samples, and acceptance criteria.
• Identify and segregate nonconforming product (e.g., nicks, burrs, scratches, dents, tool marks, FOD, coating / plating blemishes).
• Record and document inspection results (pass / fail, defect codes / notes) in excel logs and ERP system.
• Tag and escalate defects to the Quality Lead / Inspector for disposition.
• Maintain a clean, organized, FOD-controlled workstation; handle delicate parts safely.
• Meet daily throughput and accuracy targets while following AS9100 / ISO 9001 procedures and EHS guidelines.
• Utilize and care for inspection tools ( microscopes , optical comparators, calipers , micrometers , height gages, Radius gages , chamfer / countersink gage , bore gage , thread pitch gage (for simple confirmation checks) for visual inspections.
