Manager Project Implementation
C.H. Robinson is seeking a Manager Project Implementation to join our Robinson Managed Solutions (RMS) team. In this role you will focus on managing a team of Implementation professionals. Daily tasks will focus on participating in projects as an escalation point, project scope management, and the documentation and communication of project progress. Significant coaching is expected as well as alignment with other Implementation leaders and other stakeholders. This is a great opportunity to make an impact on global or multi-regional teams.
This position can be based in either our Chicago, IL or Monterrey, MX location.
Duties And Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following :
- Responsible for overall functions & successes of the team, including reporting team activities to leadership, monitoring performance to budget, & assigning team resources to project teams
- Create and drive Implementation team KPIs in collaboration with Leadership
- Serve as escalation point for internal stakeholders around project concerns
- Develop relationships with customer stakeholders and act as a point of escalation for projects
- Create & maintain project management templates
- Monitor & enforce use of documentation for all projects
- Ensure project information is successfully transferred to appropriate teams
- Assist in design of project as requested by team members or as evident by project monitoring
- Support Business Development staff with appropriate resources, as well as RFP and pricing information
- Support the creation Statements of Work, including cost estimates, for both internal & client projects
- Coach other team members on issues related to new implementations such as solution design, risk identification, IT support
- Support development of proprietary software tools, both for internal consumption as well as client & vendor facing web portals
- Support internal cross functional initiatives where Implementation resources are needed
- Participate and ensure compliance to SOC processes
- Assist in managing aspects related to P&L including personnel cost, team expenses and revenue
Qualifications
Required :
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college / universityMinimum 5 years of experience in the logistics / transportation industry, in a project / analytical or account management roleMinimum 2 years of experience leading and managing teamsAbility to work flexible hours (some weekend / late hours may be required)Ability to travel up to 30% (domestically and / or internationally)Preferred :

Compensation Range $114,100.00 - $192,500.00
