Medical Director -Veterinary Emergency Medicine
COMPENSATION: $250,000 + BONUS
Potential Up to $400,000 + Huge Benefits

• Compensation: $250,000 + Quarterly bonus’ for exceeding EBITDA
• Start Date: ASP
• 100% a leadership role
• Medical Director is not required to work clinical shifts (exception is filling in when DVM is out sick)
• Paid $1,500 per shift (in addition to Base Salary)
• Schedule: No set schedule- set to make sure they work with all DVM’s at all times -Days, Nights
• 2 weekends a month
• Clinic shifts: 7a-7p & 7p-7a, Swing shifts busy hours 10a-10p or 2p-2a or 4p-4a
• Need to be open to coaching young doctors. Many coming straight out of school
• Direct Reports: 8-10 DVM’s
• Reports to Market Owner

Requirements:

Requirements • ER Certified • DVM, VMD or equivalent degree • A minimum of 3 years of traditional 24/7 ER experience & critical case management • Teaching level proficiency in critical cases, surgery and endoscopy • Previous leadership experience or management of a team strongly preferred • Strong cultural values aligned with VEG’s core values and fulfilled through servant leadership
