SENIOR CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR
We are looking for a thorough Construction Estimator that is familiar with and can bid work pertaining to Commercial / Industrial Construction with and emphasis on Industrial Food Plants. The applicant should be looking to lay a foundation with a company for a long term career with a successful and supportive construction Group
Responsibilities
- Acquire understanding of the requirements of the projects and be able to talk through the project with the customer and ask verifying questions as well as offer Value Engineering possibilities
- Visit sites, warehouses and other venues to gather essential information
- Review documents or consult experts to collect all necessary data
- Prepare detailed reports and / or bids for submission to appropriate parties
- Select advantageous deals by evaluating offers and quotes from vendors and subcontractors
- Foster relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, architects etc.)
