Additional Information About the Role Position Highlights Full time - Monday - Friday; (5) 8hr Day Shifts Flex time available NO Holidays, NO Call BSN Required PTO Accrual on first day of month after start Benefits Eligible on first day of month after start 401k with employer match/Pension* CNE is primarily responsible for onboarding and orienting new staff, facilitating ongoing education for current staff, and developing and updating clinical policies and procedures. Additionally, the Clinical Nurse Educator must be a consistent presence on the units to assist and guide other nurses, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and staff competency are maintained. Nursing Divisions 9100/9200 are 25 bed high risk cardiology units where you will find many exciting challenges and opportunities for learning. Many of the patients that you will care for require advanced medication infusions and post cardiac procedure care. Our team consists of registered nurses, patient/student nurse technicians, and house staff of residents, interns and other medical professionals. Responsibilities Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates ongoing educational and professional development activities and programs for clinical and non-clinical areas. Collaborates with staff and representatives of other organizations to develop, present and or evaluate clinically focused training, continuing education and or professional development opportunities. Participates in activities that promote safety, quality and regulatory compliance. Collaborates with leadership to assess the educational needs of the staff and develops appropriate education plan. Participates in professional development and life long learning.
