SRS Acquiom is currently seeking a Software Engineer and technology leader that will work with a dedicated, cross-functional Agile product team in a diverse, fast-paced environment.
This is a hybrid position with in-person and remote schedule flexibility based out of Denver, CO. This position can also be fully remote.
The salary range for this position is $110,000k - $125,000k, depending on level of experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop software solutions by understanding acceptance requirements, studying documentation and system workflows; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycleOrganize and lead collaborative team driven solution design sessionsCollaborate with the Scrum Team and Product Owner to ensure complete and succinct acceptance criteriaWrite effective and complete unit, acceptance and integration testsSupport and develop software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunitiesMake informed software decisions and take ownership of services and applications at scaleConsistently thrives in a collaborative team environmentBe a persistent, creative problem solverStay on the leading edge of software engineering practicesUnderstand business needs and know how to create the tools to manage themProtect the company by keeping information confidentialRequired Qualifications & Skills
5+ years of experience writing high quality and robust software solutionsExperience with unit testing and API / Database testingStrong documentation habitsExperience working in an agile environmentExperience building complex web systems that have been successfully delivered to customersAbility to design and deliver features iteratively in a team environmentExperience in communicating with users, other technical teams and management to gather requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates and meet production deadlinesExperience with professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and deploymentsAbility to analyze, select and implement using modern software frameworksEagerness and willingness to learn new technologiesExperience with version control systems such as GIT or SVNExperience with REST-based web services using JSON formatted dataExperience in server-side software development such as PHP or LaravelExperience in web-based application development using Angular or React, HTML, CSS / SASS / SCSSGood understanding of Object Oriented development practices and classical design patterns and data structuresBasic SQL experience using relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL or OracleThird party API integration experienceDesired Characteristics
