Job Summary

Join our dynamic Nurse Residency Program designed specifically for new graduate nurses! This program is your pathway to a rewarding nursing career where you will refine your skills in a supportive learning environment. As a Nurse Resident, you will attend crucial training classes, engage in professional development workshops, and complete clinical competencies under the supervision of our Clinical Education Team.

Cohort Start Date : February 2026

Must graduate 45 days or more prior to the start date.

Essential Functions

• Adhere to Prisma Health's core values : Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference.
• Collect and document patient data accurately, demonstrating critical thinking skills under the supervision of a licensed RN.
• Develop and revise care plans in collaboration with the patient / family and multidisciplinary teams under the guidance of a licensed RN.
• Ensure care delivery aligns with accepted standards, explaining procedures to patients and advocating for their needs.
• Record care provided and any necessary changes, reporting observations related to patient conditions under supervision.
• Participate in quality improvement processes and address any identified issues responsibly under the mentorship of a licensed RN.
• Complete all clinical skills and competencies as required, with direct supervision from a licensed Registered Nurse.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
