Description :

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Med Surg unit.

The unit features a total of 28 beds with a patient ratio of 5-6 : 1 during the day and 6 : 1 at night.

Staffing includes unit secretaries and patient care technicians during the day.

The equipment utilized includes Sara Steady, Wound Vac, Tele Health, Virtual Sitter equipment, and remote telemetry.

Our documentation system is Meditech.

Scheduling requires working every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) with flexible weekdays.

Floating may occur, most often between Med Surg units.

Patient experience is emphasized through BSSR and hourly rounding.

Preferred advanced skills include IV and Foley catheter placement.

A required dress code consists of black or royal blue scrubs.
