WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Labor and Delivery Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Worcester, MA.

Job Function:

\n

• Night Shift.
\n
• 3x12: 6:45pm-7:15am.
\n
• Categorizes patients in the appropriate level of classification.
\n
• Applies external fetal monitor and interprets fetal heart tracing and uterine activity.
\n
• Implements intervention appropriately based on fetal heart rate pattern and maternal status during labor.
\n
• Identifies emergency situations, observes age and notifies provider accordingly.
\n
• Screens patients for pain during the initial assessment and reassess according to guidelines.
\n
• Assists the physicians/midwife during a delivery.
\n

Job Requirements:

\n

• 3 years L&D strongly preferred.

  \n
\n

• Will consider 2+ years with travel experience.

  \n
\n

• Must be able to circulate C‑sections.

  \n
\n

• EPIC experience required.

  \n
\n

• AWHONN Intermediate (or above).

  \n
\n

• BLS.

  \n
\n

• ACLS.

  \n
\n

• NRP.

  \n
\n
