Coordinator of Beyond School Programming

The Coordinator of Beyond School Programming is responsible for the strategic leadership, financial sustainability, and day-to-day excellence of Atlas Public Schools' Beyond School Afterschool and intersession programs. This role oversees all aspects of afterschool programming, including operations, staffing, student experience, family accountability, and budget management. The Coordinator ensures the program operates safely, at a high level of quality, and in alignment with Atlas's values, while also remaining financially sound and not operating at a deficit. This position requires a strong leader who can hold staff and families accountable, manage complex logistics, and balance program quality with fiscal responsibility.

Program Leadership, Coordination, and Operations

• Provide overall leadership and ownership of the Beyond School Afterschool and intersession programs.
• Oversee daily program operations, ensuring smooth transitions from the school day into afterschool programming.
• Coordinate and assign classroom and activity spaces; ensure all locations are clean, safe, and appropriately equipped.
• Manage materials, supplies, and inventory to ensure activities are well-prepared and cost-conscious.
• Maintain accurate student rosters, ensuring students are released from their daytime classrooms to the correct groups.
• Monitor and verify student attendance daily to ensure all enrolled students are accounted for.
