Regional Driver Position

Safe operation of a TADC with a 53' dry van. New equipment, state of the art technology, 80% drop and hook.

Responsibilities include :

• Safe effective, and efficient delivery of goods
• Home daily
• Safely operate a TAS with 53' dry van
• Perform duties in accordance with Corrugated Logistics policies and procedures
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations for the secure and safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle (CMV)
• An offered load cannot be refused
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspection of equipment
• Inspect tractor and trailer for defects and submit a written report
• Operate tractor trailer equipment in different configurations
• Drop, hook, spot, switch and interchange equipment
• Ensure all required shipping documentation accompanies deliveries
• Properly secure or re-secure cargo as required
• Communicate with Dispatch / Operations regarding stops, movements, problems
• Report accidents or incidents involving company equipment
• Report any moving violations received
• Maintain a driver's log electronically
• Complete all necessary paperwork
• Verify shipping documentation against load information
• Perform roadside inspections as required
• Work in adverse weather conditions
• Perform work required in a timely manner
• Communicate professionally with contacts
