A company is looking for a Senior Database Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure large-scale distributed database systems.

Key Responsibilities

Manage MySQL instances across multiple AWS regions and assist with database upgrades

Oversee DocumentDB and DynamoDB clusters to ensure high availability and compliance

Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies while optimizing database performance

Required Qualifications

7+ years of MySQL database administration experience in a production environment

5+ years of AWS cloud database management experience (RDS, DocumentDB, DynamoDB)

Strong experience in Windows Server administration on AWS EC2 instances

Experience with MySQL legacy upgrades to 8.x

Knowledge of PCI DSS compliance requirements is beneficial
