Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive evaluations, ordering diagnostic tests, and devising personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions either independently or in collaboration with physicians (dependent on credentialing)
• Providing education to patients and families on preventive care, wellness, and disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies within your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care management
• Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, holistic care
• Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Education & Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) required
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Required

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
