Job Details

  • Position / Specialty : Telemetry RN
  • Shift : 4x12 or 3x12 NIGHTS (0645-1915)
  • Average Daily Census : 25
  • Years of experience REQ : Minimum 1 year experience required
  • First-timers accepted : Yes
  • Weekend REQ : Will work every other weekend (Fri / Sat for night shift, Sat / Sun for day shift)
  • Is on-call REQ? No
  • Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes- will float to like units (MS / Cardiac)
  • Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule request with manager
  • Locals accepted : Yes- no radius
  • Must have active IL license in hand to apply
  • RTO Restrictions : Ideally no more than 5 days
  • Guaranteed Hours : Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours.

  • Active IL license required
  • Minimum 1 year experience required
  • Required Work Setting Experience : MS / Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry
  • Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills / Experience : Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams
  • Required Cardiovascular Case Skills / Experience : Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre / Post Cardiac Cath, TR Band
  • Required Endocrine / Metabolic Case Skills / Experience : IV insulin protocols
  • Required IV therapy / Phlebotomy Skills / Experience : Blood Product Administration, Central line care / management, Peripheral Line Care / Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs
  • Required Medication Skills / Experience : Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Titrate Cardiac drips
  • Required Respiratory Case Skills / Experience : Chest tubes-Emerson / Pleur-evac, External CPAP / BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management
  • Required Professional Topics and Skills : Isolation Precautions, Wound Care / Wound Vac.
