Description

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Electrical Installer to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will install, program, test, repairs, and service a variety of systems and equipment which may include security, fire alarm & life safety with minimal guidance as needed. You will work closely with customers and internal colleagues in providing technical installation support and training. • Install, program, test, repairs, and service a variety of systems and equipment which may include security, fire alarm & life safety, and / or building automation with minimal guidance as needed.
• Work closely with customers and internal colleagues in providing technical installation support and training. May assist or train less experienced Electrical Installers. Refers more complex issues to more experienced colleagues.
• Interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and repairs equipment, utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools.
• Provide basic installation assistance as directed by project lead.
• Act as "our customer's best service provider" at all times thereby ensuring Convergint Technologies is the customer's first choice for service.
• Take ownership of onsite project including safety, quality and performance. Observe and practice Convergint Quality Standards.
• Make suggestions for installation methods to improve profitability and quality.
• Learn and perform tasks of an Electrical Installer III in order to progress through the trade program.
• Provide feedback to the Job-Lead regarding problems and anticipate time associated with an assigned task. Act as primary liaison to Project Lead.

Requirements :

Education : High School / GED or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience : 3-5 years in electronic security industry
