Maryland Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

A company is looking for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Addiction Medicine (Part-Time).

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage ongoing care for individuals with substance use disorders (SUDs)

Incorporate harm reduction practices into patient care and help patients achieve their recovery goals

Coordinate with the multidisciplinary care team to develop and oversee treatment plans

Required Qualifications

Active NP license and PMHNP certification in the state of residency

Minimum of 1 year of experience prescribing buprenorphine-based medications in an outpatient setting

Degree from an accredited nursing school and a graduate-level clinician program

Experience managing SUDs within a chronic care model

Proficiency in electronic medical records and video conferencing tools
