[job_card.job_description]Organize, release, and prioritize outbound orders using Extensiv WMS. Build and manage daily picking waves based on order profiles, customer priorities, carrier cutoffs, and labor availability. Monitor real-time warehouse activity, analyze data, and adjust plans to meet shifting volumes and urgent customer needs. Troubleshoot order holds and ensure picking, packing, and shipping align with client expectations and company KPIs. Ensure adequate labor coverage each day to match workload demands. Project the number of daily outbound loads and communicate projections to leadership and operations teams. Prioritize and manage any shipments that fall out of Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards. Collaborate with operations, customer service, and transportation teams to maintain efficient warehouse operations. Maintain high attention to detail and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate excellent communication skills to coordinate across multiple departments. Preferably have previous 3PL experience and a strong working knowledge of Extensiv or similar WMS platforms.

As a Wave Planner for a leading 3PL company using the Extensiv Warehouse Management System (WMS) , you are responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of outbound orders by organizing, releasing, and prioritizing shipments. You will manage daily picking waves based on customer needs, carrier deadlines, and available warehouse resources, dynamically adjusting plans as needed throughout the day. This role requires strong WMS knowledge, real-time data analysis, attention to labor allocation, and effective communication across departments. Success will be measured by your ability to meet shipping deadlines, maintain service levels, and support overall operational efficiency.
