Product Engineer

Job Title : Product Engineer Location : Somerset, New Jersey Type : Contract To Hire Rate : $28- $36 / hour Contractor Work Model : Onsite Hours : 8 AM- 5 PM or 9 AM- 6 PM (some flex) M-F Responsibilities : Design, develop, and manufacturer of electrodes (primarily composed of active material, conducting carbon and binder) Characterizing powders, films, and dispersions Will work with traditional materials (electrodes, powders), as well as new active materials under development for future commercialization Requirements : BS / MS Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Materials Science and Engineering Hands-on experience with advanced materials – powder, dispersion / slurry, coating Two to five years industrial experience, chemical or materials industry Knowledge of Wet or Solid state chemistry Experience in using standard laboratory equipment Knowledge and Experience in characterizing powders, films and dispersions System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
