Senior Consultant | AI / Robotics and Autonomous Systems

I'm working with a pioneering robotics company developing

intelligent in-home robots

capable of performing complex manipulation tasks.

The team is looking for a Machine Learning Researcher to work across the full ML and robotics stack to develop models, algorithms, and systems that enable autonomous operation in complex home environments.

What You’ll Be Doing :

Training, deploying, and maintaining manipulation models on physical systems.

Building autonomy stacks using imitation learning, RL, and VLA approaches.

Developing robust teleoperation and data collection frameworks.

Extending state‑of‑the‑art robotics research and adapting it for real‑world use.

Iterating hands‑on with real robots in the San Francisco lab.

Collaborating with a highly skilled, design‑conscious engineering team.

What We’re Looking For :

PhD (or near completion) in Robotics, Machine Learning, or related field.

Expertise in robot learning — imitation learning, RL, or classical control.

Experience deploying models on real‑world robotic systems.

Ability to lead independent research and thrive in fast‑paced environments.

Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset.
