Must Haves :
- Experience estimating Doors, Frames, and Hardware (DFH) projects
- Preferred : Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business, or related field (not required)
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to learn estimating and takeoff software (e.g., Emullion, OST)
- Self-motivated with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines
- Ability to read construction plans and understand local building codes and regulations
- Commitment to high personal and professional standards
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Willingness to sign a Confidentiality, Non-Disclosure, and Non-Solicitation Agreement

Position Summary :
A rapidly growing construction services company is seeking an experienced DFH Estimator to join a Pre-Construction team in Woburn, MA. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for producing accurate, high-quality estimates. The Estimator will support preconstruction efforts for Doors, Frames, and Hardware projects, ensuring proposals and bids are comprehensive and precise.
Primary Responsibilities :
Review all project documents, plans, and specificationsQuantify all DFH products according to specifications, door schedules, and floor plansBuild hardware sets within estimating software and request material pricing based on quantitiesPrepare detailed proposal letters including clarifications and qualifications to clearly define included and excluded scopeReview proposals with Preconstruction Manager before submission and participate in internal and client scope review meetingsCommunicate with clients throughout the estimating process and follow up on submitted proposalsAttend weekly schedule / status meetings with the Preconstruction teamParticipate in internal product and process trainingEngage in career advancement initiatives, mentorship programs, and networking opportunities within the marketEducation and Experience :
