About the Job

Job Title : Pediatric EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) - Full-Time or Part-Time.

Location : Hamilton, OH.

Compensation : $35 per hour, plus monthly production bonus.

About the Practice :

Our client is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join their growing pediatric dental team in Hamilton, Ohio. This brand-new, state-of-the-art practice features modern technology and a fun, welcoming environment designed to make every child's visit comfortable and positive. The team prides itself on professionalism, teamwork, and delivering the highest standard of care.

Position Details :

  • Schedule : Full-time or part-time positions available.
  • Pay : $35 per hour.
  • Bonuses : Monthly production bonus.

Benefits :

  • Full-time (30+ hours) : Full benefits available after 60 days of employment.
  • Part-time (25-29 hours) : Partial benefits available after 60 days of employment.

    • Responsibilities :

  • Perform EFDA duties, including placing restorations and assisting the dentist during pediatric procedures.
  • Provide coronal polishing and other preventive services to young patients.
  • Ensure patient comfort and create a positive experience for children and parents.
  • Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all infection control and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the dentist and team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.

    • Qualifications :

  • Current EFDA certification and license in the state of Ohio.
  • Coronal Polishing certification required.
  • Pediatric dental experience preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
  • Positive, dependable, and compassionate attitude.
