About the Role :

We are seeking a Cloud Architect to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level cloud infrastructure solutions that align with organizational goals and IT strategy. This role requires deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) , a strategic mindset, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams through complex, large-scale technology initiatives.

The ideal candidate is both hands-on and visionary—capable of translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions that meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud Strategy & Architecture

Collaborate with leadership to align Oracle Cloud solutions with enterprise goals and technology roadmaps.
Assess existing IT infrastructure and develop migration strategies to Oracle Cloud.
Define and implement architecture frameworks focused on scalability, performance, compliance, and cost optimization.
Lead design and execution of disaster recovery and high-availability solutions using Oracle Cloud native tools.

Implementation & Operations

Manage cloud patches, upgrades, and infrastructure events in coordination with IT teams.

Provide production support, including verification and testing of backup and recovery processes.

Monitor and optimize Oracle Cloud applications and infrastructure performance.

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure a seamless end-user experience.

Collaboration & Leadership

Partner with database, application, and network / security teams to ensure smooth system integration.

Support implementation of Oracle Cloud Manager and other OCI-based enterprise tools.

Serve as the primary technical authority for Oracle Cloud issues and initiatives.

Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, policies, and best practices.

Innovation & Enablement

Lead migration of legacy systems and applications to Oracle Cloud infrastructure.

Conduct workshops and training to build internal cloud knowledge and readiness.

Stay current with Oracle Cloud advancements to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications : Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience :

3+ years in a Database Administrator or Cloud Engineer role.

Proven expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and related services.

Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments, databases, and data management.

Technical Skills :

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Cloud Manager, backup / recovery, performance tuning, and migration tools.

Familiarity with enterprise ERP environments (PeopleSoft or Oracle Cloud Applications preferred).

Solid understanding of IT governance, security, and compliance frameworks.

Soft Skills :

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Strategic thinker with hands-on technical execution capabilities.
