Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards for equipment manufacturing and industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components using SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet manufacturing and operational requirements.
- Conduct analysis and testing of prototypes to validate designs and performance.
- Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including specifications, drawings, and bills of materials.
- Support the manufacturing process by providing technical guidance and troubleshooting issues during production.
- Implement best practices in mechanical design to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in equipment manufacturing and industrial settings.
- Experience within the food processing industry preferred.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and other CAD software.
- Familiarity with industrial machining, metal fabrication, and welding processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
