Preventative Maintenance Technician (PM Tech)

Description of Job Duties (Please list major type of duties performed)

1. Complete preventative maintenance per schedule or as assigned on CNC Lathes / Mills, general machines and Hobbers / Shapers.

2. Monitor coolant system and documentation as required

3. Clean and repair chip conveyors

4. Responsible for lube oil and grease for production cells

5. Housekeeping of Chemical Storage area

6. General building and Janitorial maintenance

7. Responsible to monitor and maintain records for recycling efforts

8. Assist Maintenance Technicians in completing tasks

9. Ongoing training with Maintenance Tech's to improve skills in hydraulics / pneumatics

10. Assist or back-up Janitorial staff as needed.

11. Follow Housekeeping, Safety (lockout / tagout) & Environmental requirements (recycling, labeling, spills and programs)

12. Comply with all applicable requirements for the Quality and Environmental Systems

13. Continuous improvement ideas in safety, productivity, quality, housekeeping-submit to supervisor or HR Box

14.Other duties as defined by your supervisor
