Shift : 12-hour or 24-hour shifts (7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM or 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 AM)

Employment Type : Full-Time, Permanent

Overview :

Providence Women's and Children's Services is seeking experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) to join a dedicated, well-established team at our Level III NICUs in Portland, Oregon. Candidates must have completed a 12-month Neonatal PA fellowship or residency. This position offers the opportunity to provide expert clinical management for high-risk neonates and infants, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and deliver family-centered care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and treat high-risk neonates and critically ill infants in Level III NICUs at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center and Providence Portland Medical Center.
• Exercise autonomous practice in ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic procedures to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Support and participate in deliveries, providing essential bedside procedures.
• Educate families regarding neonatal health, care plans, and ongoing management.
• Collaborate closely with medical, nursing, and support staff to ensure high-quality, family-centered care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and licensing requirements, including potential licensure in Oregon.
