• Schedule: Monday – Friday

• Hours: 8-hour shifts

• Shift Time: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Role Overview

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist supports a cardiology-focused outpatient clinic, performing nuclear cardiology and stress testing procedures. This role requires strong technical proficiency, independence in daily workflow, and experience working in a high-volume nuclear medicine clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear cardiology and stress testing procedures

• Conduct approximately:

  • 8–10 Nuclear Stress Tests per day

  • 5 PET/CT Stress Tests per day

• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and administer doses per protocol

• Operate nuclear imaging equipment safely and effectively

• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning

• Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements

• Independently manage daily nuclear medicine workflow and clinic responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine program

• CNMT certification upon hire (required) or ARRT

• Prior experience in a nuclear medicine clinic setting

• Strong competency in nuclear cardiology procedures

• Ability to work independently and manage daily operational tasks
