Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. No degree required. Prior work related experience helpful. Requires constant movement in a variety of activities. Must be able to occasionally lift and / or move up to 35 pounds. Close Vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less). G-Code M-Code Blueprint Reading PLC Troubleshooting Skills Creating Preventive Maintenance Plans CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) Calipers and Micrometers CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC) CNC Lathe (5+ axis) (Doosan) Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (Fanuc) Conveyor Systems CNC Swiss Lathe (Star)
This position is 3rd shift 11pm-7 : 30am M-F
Summary :
- Responsible for operating production machinery in accordance with company quality procedures and standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Operates production equipment to produce products in accordance with production needs.
2. Produces assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions.
3. Inspects parts and documents findings on appropriate paperwork as needed.
4. Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas.
5. Operates shop equipment and machinery in accordance with safety requirements.
6. Notifies management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and / or personal injuries.
7. Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines. 8. Performs other related duties as assigned.
